Ebay bargains

In the process of furnishing my new garage extension I wanted a desk, as well as a workbench, so I did a search of eBay, as you do, and got a very nice leather office chair and desk;



The chair cost me £11.69 (£80 new) looks almost unused and the 5ft long desk was £20.

That's not damp on the floor, I've just put some PU sealer down before laying the rubber tiles, just waiting for it to dry out.

Did you fix the damp problem in the end Chas? I suppose you've had so much rain, you wouldn't know yet, maybe. It's been the same here with massive thunder storms and torrential rain.

Yeah damp problem solved, the drainpipe from the roof was just the other side of the damp wall, another piece of pipe to extend it to a soak away fixed it and a coat of Thompsons water sealer stopped any more coming through. Pool table's on hold for now.

Already got the Wi-Fi and a spare laptop, must find a cheap fridge for the refreshments and an ashtray, can't be stubbing out on the rubber tiles.

Another eBay bargain, a 4 drawer filing cabinet for a fiver, and only a couple of miles from me.
It's going to be storage for my drills and stuff.

Further developments in the garage extension, we now have entertainment, well a portable radio anyway and telecommunications, a cordless phone relocated from the house. Note calendar and date circled. Also a neighbourhood cat we seem to have been adopted by.

Yes she still comes, I've noticed she rarely appears at week-ends, I think maybe her owners are at work during the week and she is just seeking some company when their not there.
