Hi Guys
Just wondering how long a cruiser could go without an oil change on standard
Dino oil and still be ok. I ask because while leaving the cruiser in to get
the rear axle oil seals replaced I was told that a BMW with an oil change
interval of 8000 miles was not changed for a period of 60000 miles by
neglect of its owner. Could a cruiser go that long.
On to another subject subject, my gearbox.
I have had two ATF samples analyzed and they have both come back with large
amounts of copper in the ATF.
Everything is fine to drive it and just wondered if this would be normal for
the Auto box.
How many pieces could a auto box and attached items be broken down into
smaller pieces just to make it easier to store or carry.
I only have a small side entrance in which to get objects from front to back
where the shed is.
And what about an 1HDT engine.
But also be easy to put together again except for maybe gaskets or seals.
I'm trying to find a way to be able to get items but they have to come from
the UK as well.
Julian how long would it take you and cost me to do something like what I
previously enquired about.
cheers
