Hi all,
I must admit I really enjoyed the weather today while working
outdoors. Well, the engine is now sitting in the garage ready for the
rebuild. Apart from one strained alternator wire nothing was damaged
in the process. It would be much easier if the 0.5 T engine crane
borrrowed from HSS would be able to lift more than half that weight
(it's crap but they'll still charge you full price).
I hope the engine will be back in the LC before the end fo next week.
The upside is that when I am finished almost the whole engine (apart
from the block and a few small bits) will consist of almost new
parts.
