For my 2003 4.2 Auto diesel.

Diesel Engine
Caltex Delo Gold 15W40 ( mineral oil )

Transfer case
Total EP 75W90 or Caltex Easy Shift GL4 75W90 gear oil.

Front & rear differentials
Total TM 80W90 gear oil.

Have i missed anything?

ATF for the gearbox?

I'm still making up my mind whether to go with Amsoil Synthetic or Castrol Transmax Z.... Your gearbox probably uses the same spec ATF, hence I mention this to [strike:38k5mvw3]confuse[/strike:38k5mvw3] help you

Any reason why you opted for mineral engine oil over semi- or fully-synthetic?

Reason for mineral over synthetic is i have been told that on older engines that have done a few miles 100k+ there is a build up of grime and dirt on the seals which as they age helps keep them sealing and if you change to semi or full synthetic you run the risk of then cleaning off all that "stuff" that is helping those seals do there job and so may end up having to replace seals as well.

And the cost of changing the oil every 5000miles it can get expensive with semi or fully synthetic
