I think a forum is a great idea
The list is ok, but with a forum you can list and catalogue stuff much
better so it would become a very good source to store & look up info .I
use the D3 one for my discovery 3 and I think it is great. All subjects
covered plus technical stuff nicely filled so old and new members can
look up things. But using a list like this, some of the subjects just
repeat just like ground hog day(please don't take offence).
>From what I have seen the community on this list is great but I think we
need to move into the 21st century with a forum.
Come on Julian when are we going to have one. ?

Yes it exists. It was a little project I put together when I had a bit
of time on my hands - seemed like a good idea at the time
Nobody seemed / seems very interested to use it so it got left for dead.
It still exists out there on the interweb.

Hi peter
Long time no see, how is life on your very own LC forum now a days hope
its going well.
As regards a good mechanic I can recommend one up here in Stourbridge
but it?s at least 40m from you. plus you will have to get the car to him
Would you like the details?
I have asked him and he says he can do it for about =A3700. But hat depend
on the state of the head once he takes it off. As if you have driven
with it gone for too long, you may have to get it skimmed
