Renate,
Well Brittany is not technically Northern France, but to answer your question for the real Northern France I'd say it would have to be me ?!
Western France/ Brittany I don't have a clue unfortunately.
I'm told the Brittanish (?) language resembles Welsh if this can cheer you up ?
Good luck ;)

Hi Denis
Okidokes! You a mechanic then....? (assumptions aside, anybody who has an 80 series based in 'northern france' (Bretagne) is fair game for me to come to visit! - and do some stuff with me on l'beast as far as I'm concerned.....
Seriously, you live in France? Whereabouts? Anywhere within 'cruising distance' of Carhaix-Plouguer, or Finistere?.... this is where I'll be based (nearer to nord afrique) than da UK....
Ciao
Renate
Who definitely will have to learn French now...

Hi Denis
Hey ho! I never thought it would be easy! Okay, I'll have to ask around a few locals and get some recommendations for a decent 4WD mechanic - well you never know when one might need one!
So, what would I say "excuse me, could you recommend a good 4WD mechanic please?" I only know "excuse me..." in French.... Oh well, methinks must invest in a half-decent conversational French book.....
You live not too far from Cerefino Lamb then?
Cheers

Renate,
Picture the Finist=C3=A8re departement (29) at the far western end, you'll find me in the Nord department (59) at the far northern end of the hexagon, I'm afraid I might be a bit too far to be of any help unless you're really in trouble.
Make sure you take your raincoat either way ;)
