I've got an AFN steel bumper on now

just wondering what else is a good idea protection-wise for the front underbody area?

cheers

You know we can't believe you... :text-worthless::lol:

Do you have a lift on the 80 TP?

i'll get a pic mate

7.5cm suspension lift,as in signature

Karl used to do some steering guards - may be worth giving him a shout. Just extra weight unless you really need it though....

I've got a steering guard on mine, never hit it with anything substantial and probably carrying extra weight for no real reason, same reason I have a transmission guard though, the day I don't have them is the day I'll hit something big. Do a fair bit of solo vehicle laning so for me I'd rather carry the weight.
Steering guard also adds protection to the winch mount on mine.

Not the best pic

Can see the trans guard too.

'Scuse me, missed that.

TBH I wouldn't bother, unless you do a fair bit of rock crawling.

Admitted my lift is more now (140 mm), but I've never been worried about damaging steering components.

I run with no guards whatsoever and after 10 years with regular runs on the mountain , I've never damaged anything underneath, and I've been in some tight spots off road.

Hello mate

how's the family doing?

cheers

All good cheers. Little girl, Lyra is doing well. We're just starting to plan our first big trip as a family in the truck for next year. This year is about finishing the truck and doing some UK trips as a bit of a shakedown. You good?
