Going East - starting April / May 2016

We are planning a trip round the Caspian Sea and back and are wondering if anyone else is doing something similar and would like to travel together for all/part of the way.

We will head out via Southern European countries bordering the Med. and head back via Northern European countries. We think it might take 6 months. We are a husband & wife team.

Nothing much set in stone right now. We are just plotting the outbound route doing as little Tarmac as we can. We welcome any advice/information from anyone, e.g. Must visit ... / don't bother with ....
