I could only see 66 and one possible transporter?

What are those? F5?
I thought Sin didn't have much of an airforce. Is this the whole fleet?

This is just a small local airport, 3rd tier city.

Every time I see these boys playing up in the blue sky, I realise I missed my vocation some time back in life.

Man, I would love to have a go in them babies.

Weifang falls under "Jinan Military region"
Weifang is in Shandong, and Jinan is the regional capital of Shandong

Scroll down to Jinan Military Region, then see Weifang baase.

Weifang, is a small domestic airport.

I would say they are Chengdu J-10, Chengdu J-7, Chengdu J-7G
Su-27K/Su-33,
Also J-11B, which is a reverse engineered Su-27SK

I have seen 2 different types flying above us.

I read some where there are between 3200 and 3400 aircraft in service.

There are circ 2300 MiG-15, but not in regular service.
The story with these is they would be converted into "unmanned drones" and served up as pray to emeny air to air missiles.
The enemy fighters would not really know if they were firing on an un gunned and un manned drone, and would therfore waste an air to air missile.

They might not be the most sofisticated, but sheer numbers dictate.

Wow. You're updated!

The airforce had an "open day" about September last year.
Some of the slow low level fly by's were quite impressive.
Almost count the rivetts.
Loads of people with long lens's
I got a few cracking photos, I need dig them out
They (the airforce) last year was showing off a stealth J-20
Similar to the USAF but the Chinese one was about 15 % bigge, carrying more fuel and armamants.

I think in teh past, this was all classified info, on teh Chinese, but now it seems pretty open,
There is a Youtube of the Chinese stealth fighter doing take of, fast taxi, and landing.
