Been out greenlaning today.
Got more up close and personal than i expected...
Been over and thru gorse and a bit of wading too.
Good fun.

Anyhow my handbrake light comes on every now and again.
More so when pullinv off if revs get above 2400 and flashes on on gear change.
Doesnt happen all the time tho.
ANY IDEAS WWHAT THIS COULD BE???
Thanks in advance

are you sure its not the brake fluid level light ;)

Think its handbrake.
Almost sure. but will check everything over in the morning
its not down on power and brakes work ok too. confused

how long since you fitted pads, might just be due to wear that / if the level is a tad down

Not done them but i know they are due soon.
Is that the normal indicator for fluid level. got no manual!

sorry should have said will most likely come on when going round bends or up / down hill

Just took a quick run out there and checked.
Level looks ok.
I did notice after d day the handbrake comes up a bit more
than it used to. but i dont think that would be the cause of the flashing light.

Cheers guys for theinfo.
Changed rear pads. 1 side more worn than d other.
New caliper zorted and being sorted over the next few days.
I also unplugged the brake reservoir and used contact spray on the connections and lihht hasnt flashed up since.
RESULT!!
