HAYNES MANUAL

The FSMs are available online somewhere around here Chris

I'll try & dig out a link for you...

Haynes are better than nothing but don't hold a candle to the FSMs in my view. Some of the pics in Haynes can be nice but the descriptions are pretty average and often miss vital details.

Do you know where I can get a factory service manual & how much for?
or is it the one I already have with the lists:
air con
automatic trans
body electrical
body mechanical
brake
charging
etc etc?

Thanks Gav - that's a massive download!!
I should have specified that mine is a petrol 4.7 - sorry - that link is mainly for diesel, but I'm sure there's something there I can use

There will be one for the V8 from the same source Chris

I did look but can't see one from the main mudtoys.com site?

I also have another link to a different manual on that site - there must be a menu I can't see - unless they are hidden :?

That H-book is not worth more than a fiver.
It's incomplete, inaccurate, misleading and in some cases incorrect.
I regret buying it.

There's no menu but links have been posted to all of the available manuals in various threads.

Any 'new' vehicle I got the first thing I bought would be a Haynes manual, until I got one for a Moto Guzzi California motorbike and the manual told me to set the timing 5 degrees AFTER TDC, I've never bought one since :snooty:
