Heavy breathing

Gents it’s been a while but on the home straight, I am looking for a sump gasket for a 2h engine anybody got one as I have a small leak
Regards john

Should be able to buy one if not cut one yourself just get the correct thickness and before you fit it in straighten the metal around each of the bolt holes so it doens't start leaking again. You need a flat surface for the gasket to seal correctly. If you over tighten it will leak and if you undertighten it will losen. I use gasket goo and stick the gasket to the pan then fit it with a dry topside of the gasket.

Gents I can’t believe I’m asking this as this car has fought me harder than any car, engine number two in all sorted intercooler turbo etc , took the car out for a blast pulls well the problem is it’s pressurising the water system, I already know the answer to this but on these engines apart from a crack in the block would there be any other reason for this before I pull the engine for a third time and replace the block ?

All finished, a mixture of two engines combining in a fully reconditioned engine block decked etc , runs so so smooth and not even a hint of smoke very happy until something else takes a dump

Looking good there! Did you tee into the oil pressure sender to get the oil supply to the turbo?

Yes and return into the side plate of the block , afternoon of driving up and down , pulls very well but when not under load ie changing gear puff of smoke ie fuelling issue or turbo ?

Hi gav
When’s the next one after that as I can’t attend that date ?

Not sure but I don't think theres anything planned after this as yet.

That’s a pity as it’s due for a decent trot out

Thats a great job done and hoping it will be trouble free for the next 5,000,000 miles at least!! Well done.
