Hello everyone, my name is Grant aka BigRed
My Cruiser is a 1989 FJ62 with 455000kilometres on her
2inch lift, 33inch tyres, extractors and a nice exhaust system, barwork front and rear including a wheel carrier, spotlights and some rust.
No plans as yet, just a couple of small repair jobs to get her into good shape, rebuild the transfer case and re-seal the swivel hubs. Should be a bit of fun, Im a mechanic so am looking forward to getting stuck in
I have had a couple of hiluxes before and done a bit or four wheel driving, nothing extreme as I never really had the truck for it. Thats all changed now though.
Im from South coast Western Australia, we have heaps of mud, beaches, big dunes and plenty of forrests to explore so I will keep you guys updated with lots of pictures.

Hey Big Red, nice intro and welcome to the forum!

That's a nice example of a 60 Series you have there, a few character dents for luck and very clean looking. Rust is a nightmare on 60's, but yours looks relatively rust free compared with most.

Looking forward to some trip reports or days out, plenty of Aussies on here so you'll be in good company
