My name is Shane

I have a 2011 1HZ Troopy with 200 000km on the clock.

Mods: Nothing major - suspension upgrade (Old Man Emu) and 265/75 R16 BF Goodrich A/T tyres.

Will be putting a 3rd door in this year.

But still basically a blank canvass!!!

Not a hard core 4x4er (yet!)

Hope to chew the fat and pick up some knowledge from you guys!

Hi Ben,

First I'm going to put a third door in so the kids can get in easier....

Later I might look at an HDFE motor as the 1 HZ is a little underpowered.....

The vehicle will be used for overlanding so the inside will eventually be rigged for that as well.

I currently pull an offroad camping trailer with it so I'm not in a rush.

We have a company here, Meano Conversions, that add in an extra side door.

I have 3 kids and gettin them in is sometimes a challenge...

Took the old girl out this past weekend. Was hoping to see some 4 wheeling action but the weather had other plans....

Had to settle for this foto instead.
