I have a 1988 LC70 SWB 2.4 turbo manual (being done up long term so that the body and chassis are free of rust, and a 2002 LC100 ‘Amazon’ 4.2 automatic as my daily driver, only just bought this and needs little bit of TLC (side steps and rear handle to start!).
My plan is to do up the 70 and have that as a daily driver. Unsure with the 100 yet, maybe do up as an expedition vehicle, but may sell when the 70 is ready.
Done a little bit of off roading and have driven Toyotas all my life (land cruise and FJ cruiser in Bahrain growing up, and Hilux in the UK recently.
Slightly clueless still though, so please send advice. Doing the north coast 500 in the 100 series soon!
