THE 1HZ ENGINE IS NON-TURBO.
THE 1HZ ENGINE IS AVAILABLE IN THE 70, 80 AND THE 105 SERIES
and yes I know I am shouting. ;-)
Toyota use this engine for third world countries where reliability is
more important than highway cruising. Last autumn I was driving a
brand new 105 with basic 1HZ in Africa.
If you want to look at a 70 then go for a hard top troopie with the
1HZ. But it is very uncomfortable unless you have a good load on it
as the rear leaf springs are very stiff.
You want to know a spec for a LHD 80 manual with no bells and whistles.
So this describes my 80 (It is military spec with twin opening rear
doors and not a tailgate.)
FRAME No - HZJ80 - 0012761
MODEL No - HZJ80L - GCMRS
TRIM - LA 40
COLOUR - 045 (UN white)

You can get to understand Toy's nomenclature by reading the document
that you will google, each number and letter of the frame and model
code is fully explained there.
And as someone else wrote - get an 80 ! You will find it the most
comfortable, and each seat can be accessed via its own door and each
seat will have access to a wind-down window.
