Hi

A couple of months ago my defender finaly became uneconomical to keep on the road so was sold to a friends son as a project.

So i made the plunge and bought a LC95 2000 FX spec. All good so far, I have had to invest in some new tyres as those fitted were too small and the speedo hugely under read. I have changed the transmission fluid and engine oil. Radiator is on the list as it has done 120k.

So I now look forward to trouble free motoring.

I have now got to get the courage up to admit defeat to my farmer friend who swapped to a Hilux years ago.

welcome to the club.

theres quite a few people here, who after years of owning [strike:2cjozbrf]poorly built, un-reliable, uncomfortable[/strike:2cjozbrf] landrovers, have realised Toyota's are far superior!

do you do any off roading, or will it be a road car?

any pics? :)

Hi
Ben it will be a school run (too juicy for my 80 mile round trip to work), dads taxi, load carrier (fishing gear) , tow (folding camper) vehicle mainly.
But a few times a year I shoot down to my mates farm on Bodmin Moor, where it will get used off road 90% of the time.
