Hi guys,
Just taken the plunge and bought myself a '96 Prado - very pleased, though still in the 'nervous' phase wondering what I've got myself into

Plans so far are just to fit some decent muds and general tidying up.....

I did notice that it only has one battery, while all the other Cruisers I've seen have two - is this 'cos it's a Prado?

Looking forward to spending time on the forum

Welcome Rob. And here we have another Blue SWB 90.... that makes 3 blue and 1 red one.... if I recall correctly.

Yes depending on the model they came with either 1 or 2 batteries. My 90 also only came with 1 battery from new. So long as the batteyr is in good condition you should be fine. I think they are 90Ah batteries so plenty of oomph!

Alot fit a second battery depending on what else you are wanting to run in the truck. As tony said though, for everday normal use a single battery will be fine.
