Hi potential new owner to the world of Land Cruisers

Hi Im Hoover, living up in North Wales near Chester.

Currently I have a Discovery TD5 lifted with winchbar, snorkel etc, but Im looking to ditch this in favour of a 2005ish Land Cruiser

So what would be the best/equivalent model to buy?

im after the same gargantuan rubbish swallowing abilitues of the Discovery boot and Im looking to take it overlanding at some point.

Any pointers?

Hello and welcome!

Good to see you've seen the light. For the overlanding i'd take a really good look at a 1997 80 series first ... and then if you decide you really want something newer look for a 100 series.

Welcome Hoover, are you after a diesel or petrol? I know of a 1996 80 series petrol/LPG that is looking for a new home, at the moment it is with Julian Voelcker( http://www.overland-cruisers.co.uk/) in Ledbury (about 90 mls from you) if you are interested let me know and I'll send you more details.
