hj47 hard black soundproof stuff on footwell

i need a way to get the hard black soundproof material off the driver and passenger side footwell as it is hard and will not scrape of

If anyone had any sugestions as how to get it off it would be greatly appreciated

Careful application of a blowtorch and scraper maybe? but have a fire extinguisher handy.

A heatgun would be a lot safer than a blow torch but before i tried heat i would have a go at trying to get some whitespirits behind it which might break the bond and allow you to peel the stuff away .

Whitespirits are highly flammable so if that fails make sure its good and dry before trying heat !
