how long does a steering column take to fit?

Hi guys
Me being a complete novice, any idea how long it is likely totake to take out a steering column and put another one in, in the rain, with no garage or anything, and limited tools?
Is it remotely possible I could do it on my own?
I received the steering column from Karl this morning but have NO idea how long these things take to do - any ideas?

All depends on how much of a dab hand you are with the tools.
