I like pineapples

Today we are tucking into our third pineapple in so many days.

I think I can eat pineapples breakfast, lunch and evening meal.

at 15p each why not.

Is there any other way to eat pineapples, besides just skinning it, ect.
Any one have any fancy or ( I don't mean eating it off the next door's teenagers naked belly ) different ways of eating?

my wife makes a "smoothy" out of them, mixed with different fruit.

really good.

Like most things, they can be quite good on a BBQ - just sprinkle a bit of brown sugar or mollasses over them (but don't burn or they will be quite bitter).

Also good with a hot curry as a "side" dish, in the same way you might have some onions/salad etc.

Make a mix of salt/sugar/chilli power at a ratio 1:1:1 and sprinke over the pineapples - add more/less to taste.

Love to use pineapples in with my breakfast smoothie's every morning along with strawberries, apple, plumb, pear, banana's and orange. Wonderful pure protein not to be compared with conventional breakfast.

I find using one of these makes life a lot easier - easier than opening a tin!
