Importing a 40 series

Hey everyone, I want to know if anyone has imported a FJ40 from Colombia or any neighboring South American country. How much did it cost you in total from start to end and what problems did you encounter. The particular one I'd like to import is a 79 so it beats the 25 yrs or less rule so I won't have to do any modifications to the car except emissions because it was produced after 12/31/67.

I know of guys who have imported European performance cars and JDM stuff into the US and Canada from Japan. Not sure on costs but may be worth looking at as the vehicles are often in better condition having been recreational as opposed to work vehicles.
