600+ miles today and only one Cruiser of note: a completely blacked-out, snorkelled, mean 100 machine on the M74 just south of Glasgow.

Most of the miles are done in cars and vans that I deliver for work but we do rack up a fair few in the 100 on odd jobs around the country. Went to Bicester yesterday for example - 270 miles in total and around £60/50l in fuel which works out at around 25mpg. It’s acceptable but I am looking for a more efficient second car for that type of journey when we don’t really need the space or the features of the Land Cruiser.

This afternoon finds me in Cleethorpes where I had a nice chat over a portion of chips with a charming older couple who have been running this peach for the last eight years.

I've been out around Buxton back towards tideswell eyam areas in the 80 this morning was bloody freezing opening gates! Not sure exactly where banner cross is but if it's near them places then maybe

Ahh could well be. We were in the same places on the bike. Banner Cross is West side of Sheffield as you drop down to Hunter's Bar, Wirlow way. It certainly looked like your rig.

It probably was, garage is in that vicinity so that's where we ended. Did see quite a few bikes so must have seen you. Glad to see you're not a fair weather rider haha
