the shade on the skylight is stuck forward of the skylight not allowing the skylight to fully close, any idea's on freeing up the shade?

If it has got damp it will buckle and not close properly and jams open about half an inch, if it bothers you a lot then take it out and put some weight on (gently) to make it return to shape, perhaps leave overnight?

striped the interior, head liner and sky light and found out that the glass was locking up the shade. reinstalled everything with glass raised into the opening and sealed in place do to broken, worn and unavailable parts
I opted to eliminate it.
