So I left my lights on at night and the battery drained. Jump started it in the morning and suddenly had an engine light flashing and a rough idle, it also didnt go above 3000rpms.

The error code on the diagnostics showed p0102, so I replaced the mass airflow sensor. The problem was still there.

It started giving more errors and now it doesnt even want to start anymore.

I had a friend test the wiring and he suggested getting a new ECU, I bought the new ECU and it still has the same errors.

Any ideas?

I’m no expert but some observations/questions on what you’ve said.

Was the car running normally before you left the lights on and flattened the battery? If so then I’m puzzled why you changed the MAF and the ECU.

Have you tested and recharged the battery? Have you cleared the error codes and do they reoccur?

Did the jump start go OK, or is there a possibility of a short / reverse-polarity?

Yes it was running normally before the jump, battery and fuses are checked, and the errror codes come back instantly.

Did you clear the error codes when you fitted the new MAF? Have you disconnected and reconnected the battery to reset? If yes to these then do you have power and if so you’ll need to run through the circuits to find out where to. I very much doubt an ECU fault, not common Unless you short circuited it doing the jumpstart even so the fuses should protect it.
