Cruiser: BJ40, 11/1978, Stock restore with some modifications.
Mods: H41 replaced with H55F. Front drums replaced with discs. Added Power Steering. Added aftermarket AC from Nostalgic AC. New OEM Wheels with Hubcap clips and Hubcaps.

2nd Cruiser: GCC FZJ100, Stock
Mods: Currently none

Plans:

BJ40:

I may replace the front doors with used originals. A bit skeptical for swapping the stock B engine with 1KZ. It is called Barney and is a prized possession and occasionally goes offroad, when I visit back home and serves as a daily during my stays.

FZJ100:

Planning to modify the spare wheel location from under the body to OEM swing-out type. It is called as Joey, and will be used as a second daily and for dune bashing and wadi drives on the weekends in the UAE.

Welcome. Barney is beautiful!!

In my opinion do not replace the B with the 1KZ. Firstly devalue the vehicle and it’s authenticity and secondly the B is he better engine for longevity at least
