LJ 70 Bonnet Catch Clip

Please can anyone identify the bonnet catch retaining clip part number?

I managed to snap mind but have pictured it below.

ive had a look on toyodiy for you, but i cant find the part number.

mine was missing when i bought my 70. i got one off a suzuki vitara and that fitted perfectly.

might be worth looking in a scrap yard, it wouldnt surprise me if most jap 4x4's use the same size fitting.

They usually snap in cold weather, but being nearly 20 years old may be a factor.

I replaced mine with a spring steel pen/pencil holder from a clipboard. Try an office stationers.

I buy 1 or 2 a year.Bought one the other day for $3.25
