HI Clive,
It's a KZJ70(same as lj70 with square lights) with a 3.01KZT diesel engine,
it had low oil pressure and still runs... well did and that's where the
story starts

.
Whilst out wheeling in some mud I cooked it by plugging the radiator, the
good old 1kzt did not nothing to warn me until it stalled, then I restarted
it continued driving for a bit then it ticked over 500 rpm all of a sudden
that's when I noticed my oil pressure :-(.
Changed the BEB bearings, no difference. Did not measure anything they
looked pretty battered anyway.
Drove for a further 500 miles or so, done some more wheeling, damaged a CV I
guess, clickety noise coming from the front wheel area when the front hub
locked up, but NOT in 4x4 mode via the switch.
Whilst driving one evening I revved it quite hard and it made a horrible
ticking noise from head, never heard that one before :-(.
So I decided to change the oil pump as a last ditch effort which we did,
unfortunately I believe this process has killed the injector pump, groan....
In the process of trying to get the injector pump to work we blew the tank
pipe of for the fuel, hehe

.
The engine needs a rebuild, at this stage I thought it's easier to get
another one, and they are going for =A31600 for a 3.0.
Did not want the hassle and costs of a rebuild so am stripping the OME
shocks, snorkel, tyres and wheels, gearbox, turbo, new exhaust for my new
KZJ70 which I have now
As someone said once "the pig is dead, long live the pig..."

.
I am not a mechanic and hate taking things apart, as you can see ;-).
If anyone has a trailer and wants it after I am finished they would be more
that welcome to take it.
Let me know if you require anything easy to take off, the panels are beaten
with dents and no good, the back doors, bonnet is ok but the person would
have to take the vehicle for those bits as I do not have time or skills to
take those bits out. The lights i will probably struggle, hehe.
I may even take the rear diff as well for a locker install, Julian how much
to fit it

???
Thanks
Martin.
