Dear All,
I own a 2003 V8 Vx 100 and have a problem with my outside temperature sensor.
Although the out side temperature is around 0 celcius, dash board indicates it something like around 5 degrees.
I assume, there is something wrong with the sensor and unfortunately I couldn't find the location of it.
Please kindly advice me the exact location of the sensor or a possible reason why the dash board is indicating the wrong temperature.

Regards,

Burak

I think its in the drivers side mirror ,there's a square removable cover on the underside of it! I'm not 100% but someone will be along shortly to help !!!

Behind bumper, RHS (starboard) about under the end of the grille. Easy to spot.

Thanks a lot for your kind answer.
Hope it would be easy to reach from the hood side, seems to be very close to the lamp.

On the HDJ100, you can reach it from below; or from above if you remove the grille by removing 3 small screws.
Measure the resistance in the sensor, 1.6 to 1.8 kOhm at 25 C. At 50 C it's 500 to 700 Ohms.
