Shayne, I've been involved in general, specialist haulage and dock work for years, and it's fact that however and how well it's packed, the more times it's handled (forks or manually) the more it's likely to receive damage. Even had trucks damaged by numpty workers before the freight was even lifted off. Freight terminals/warehouses don't hang about when moving/stacking tons of freight each day and space is at a premium.
Obviously insurance is important, but that's no help if you're waiting to use the part.
