looking for fj40 70's

Hi and welcome to the forum...
Most 40s in the UK are BJs - the diesel version but there are a few FJs (petrol) about. Worth you keeping an eye on ebay and Difflock classifieds also check out the Eire classified sites as the 40 is more available in other European countries as it was imported to them but only 1 was imported into UK originally (for Toyo themselves).
What are you looking for a restored one; one to restore or something in between? RHD or LHD? If RHD it maybe worth checking out the OZ sites and importing one. A few members on here have done that so would be able to advise you - pitfalls and all!
They area sort-after truck and it's worth looking up the history so that you know the differences between the model numbers - most relate to body dimensions but things like 42s are 12 volt not 24... that sort of thing will help your search.
