miss-firing - fixed.... engine light still on.

i had a miss fire of which i have now fixed. however the engine light is still on.
can i reset this manually or does it need to be plugged in to a black box!

Don't know on the petrol - but suppose it is like the diesel, there's a procedure for resetting w/o a tester or techstream. (Techstream is cheap tho').
Who's got the handbook handy?

(It's something like: Short 2 pins in the DLC3 plug, turn on the ign while holding in this and pressing that 5 times, then press this or that...)
