I expect that the tilting bike rack models are really for hatchbacks and wouldn't be much help for the LC's swing door at the rear. Please let me know if anyone has experience with this.

I thought I'd share my experience on where I ended up on the bike rack.
I fit a standard towbar and bought a MaxxRaxx 4x4 model for 4 bikes - http://www.maxxraxx.co.uk/Racks/racks.html.
I am very pleased to find that when the MaxxRaxx is fully tilted, the door will actually clear the top of it and can be opened fully. I have not tried this when there are bikes mounted but will post in the 120 forum with photos once I've played around with this some more. ´
