I had the same thought when I saw it a while back on eBay. Still, nothing that a good coat of paint won't sort.

It would be an improvement just to paint the bonnet silver, IMO.

Still, while the brush is in your hand, may as well do the whole thing in red, that would be even better

In all fairness apart from the seat and the colour scheme it's not a bad looking 80, if it's solid and was cheaper worth a look.

My guess is that it has suffered with flaking lacquer coat on the roof and wings and someone has tried to be 'creative' with the remedy rather than do a full respray on the parts that need it. Poor taste maybe but looks like it's been looked after.

My guess is diy vinyl wrap and it is probably a maroon truck underneath so how it looks tells us nothing .
