Looking into some lanes in mid-wales
Will be driving from Cardiff area to Leek/Stoke area in mid-May, and thought I would detour via strata florida! rahter than head up the M5

plan to do the lane that ends at Soar y Myndydd, then strata, then head north to nant-y-moch - but there is a northern and southern lane at Nant-y-moch, which one to do or both! and what direction is best?

Happy valley looks too far off my route.....

North is a bit more fun but you might as well do both the lane from the visitors centre a bit further south is also worth a drive.

Visitor centre?
the only one i see just south of nant-y-moch is a "V" on Anquet maps at SN717813
but no BOAT's starting from it, just a bridleway

That's the one Andy, but the bridelway from the visitors centre to SN 73355 83234 is actually a BOAT The continuation on the other side of the yellow road is now an RB though we used to be able to drive it before NERCA, lots of lanes in that area like that

We were down that way yesterday, the one cross axle bit has had work done and is a bit flat now. As Jon has said there is loads down there.
