Hi all, On my car the hydromechanical A442F. From Japan came from the electronic control. Difficulties with the installation of wiring, selector, sensors, and so on.
There is a desire to change the body control valves.

Am I right in thinking you want to fit the electronically controlled valve block from a latter A442F box into an earlier non electronic box?

I would suspect not, you will have to add extra speed sensors to the gearbox case and there won't be the gears on the inside for the sensors to track.

Replace the unit with solenoids on the block without solenoids.
