You may need to get your post count up a bit first... Or plop them onto photobucket & link them across, this is what I do... Now hurry up please

Hi Gav I've got them on photobucket but can't post it sails I got to get my 15 posts,I will try to get my posts up to date and then post photos. I've got photos from the restoration to the finish.

Lovely looking truck - you should do a full build thread for us... We like them :icon-cool:

Wow! What a great looking truck. Love the build up pictures and the countryside in the background. How old is it and how long did you spend restoring it. I really like the lower panel between the cab and the back wheel. Did you paint it or did a shop spray it.

ps Do you use it as a daily driver?

Hi thank you for the compliments I'm really proud of the truck!

What a beauty, you should be very proud, it's gorgeous! Superb job... full build thread pleeeease!! :clap:and of course ... more :banana-gotpics:

RHD in Portugal? It's got to have an interesting history!

Looks fantastic; like the tray on the back, especially with the tub-esque section running into the underside of the tray.

Thanks, yes it was a great place to do the build up,the view was great.the truck is a 1982 model HJ47 all original except for the loading bay which was replaced about 10 years ago.the weather in Madeira is not very gooy for these cars you must keep it in a garage, otherwise the rust will eat everything.I to a friend to spray it he is very good,he's done quite a few here on the island.
The truck was bought by my dad in South Africa new at the time,he said it was expensive at the time,15000 rands that in today's terms is about 1500 euros !!!!!

Got some more photos with better quality! Here is he Hj47 "dogtag"

Body was in good shape, well looked after all these years, had a bit of rust here and there but no major issues.Never been in a accident also helped, all body parts are metal no fibreglass.
