Well having had to put my muddy waffle boards in the back of the LC twice now i decided it was tim for a small roof rack to be made to try and keep some of the mud out of the LC.
Looks neat and should be quiet too. My Maxxtrax used to reside in the truck in a long tarp bag but I've recently gone the way of many others and now hang them on the rear wheel carrier. A simple bracket, couple of mounting bolts and a ratchet strap. Had to move the number plate and light to do it though. My roof rack is full of RTT and second spare so didn't have the space to mount there.....I miss the long roof line of the 110
That looks quiet neat and sturdy, nice!
Just an idea especially if you are putting some smaller stuffs up there, dad just installed this ARB rack with mesh flooring. Not hearing any noise or vibration, pretty solid. ARB Roof Racks
I did think about the mesh floor but we have a van at work with one and it is horrendous for wind noise thats why i didn't use it. I suppose its all down to aero dynamics.
