Well I did attempt to tint my own windows but I didnt get very far 
Lets just say I dont have the patience to cut them the right size.
Got several quotes and most of them were over £200 for the rear windows only.
This place charged £160, and were very open that doing any tint to the front windows would likely make them illegal. They also showed their work vehicle which had very dark tints on the front which they said had never caused any issues. The front windows would have been an extra £20. They didnt try do a hard sell which I liked.
