OE snorkel fit 76/78/79 2007 on

Can anyone tell me the shape of the wing cut out or give me a template for the OE snorkel? I have a copy but with no template, I suspect it is a direct copy of an OE unit so any info from anyone who has swapped out the OE etc would be great

I've got an OE snorkel from my VDJ79 as I swapped it for a Safari Armax, so could get pics and dimensions if that would help.

Only after the hole was altered to suit the Safari snorkel, I can upload them if you like.

I guess those joins cannot be made waterproof? Like the one piece safari snorkel.
Even if they are (mostly) dust proof.

I guess you would be relying on on silicone sealant or similar and run the risk of it leaking at some point

Thank you very much! Looks like what I have is a pretty much exact copy of the OE….now to work out the hole
