OEM Alloy as spare wheel

Can I use an oem alloy as the spare on my 100 series. Will the bracket that hold the spare in place be ok for the alloy wheel. I'm asking as there seems to be a lug that sits proud of the bracket. Does this only fit the steel wheel supplied with the vehicle. I suppose what I’m really asking is will the bracket that holds the spare in place be suitable for an oem alloy. Thanks.

Yep, the bracket will fit an 80 alloy. One lug fits through a wheel stud hole and the the other flush with the centre hole perimeter. As I remember from when I had a 100 with this system.
