Hi guys
Does anyone know what would cause diff oil to leak onto the rear wheel. I
suspect a faulty oil axel seal or seals, how many are there and does anyone
have part No's so I can order or are there other suspects.
cheers

Thanks for the info, I only had new bearings installed about 1 and 1/2 years
ago from Milner but then I had Toy install and they did mess up the front
which had to be re done at their expense. So maybe their bad work still
haunts me.

Hi John,
That's your problem, the Milner hub seals are a waste of time, particularly on
the rear and their bearings only seem to last 5000-15000 miles, possibly a
little more on the back axle, but not much.
You will need to get the inner axle seals and inner hub seals replaced and may
also have to replace the bearings. A local garage should be able to do it for
you and I know of a firm in Herefordshire that can supply the bearings and
seals at sensible prices ;-)

Hi Julian
Do you know the cost for the stuff I would need for the oil leak and would
you know the part Nos.
paid a visit to the local Toy and they could not tell me what I need even
after telling them and all I needed was the part Nos from them to order.
They want me to bring in to them so they can tell me then. But I have a
local guy who I think I would trust rather than them.
cheers and thanks
