P reg 80 series

Sure i have seen that before  was it the one being sold from a hidden location with no keys or something like that ?

If its the same one it was talked about on here i remember saying it looks like its been repossessed .

Not dear if the mileage is correct, I've gotta say though I'd expect the seat and steering wheel to be in better condition for that mileage. That said show me a better one for the money.
Just to note, its not one of the "last" incarnation as it doesn't have the passenger air bag, roof rails or the "best" gearbox.

that does look familiar, unless that ugly bonnet decoration was a popular thing in the 90's

Mileage seem correct according to MOT Historyand also seems to back up that the truck was off the road for 6 years (2010-2016).

Proof is in the pudding though, so really need to view it I suppose.

I also remember thinking a good body with bumper scratches suggests to me it is a more honest ad than many out there that have been dressed up for sale with rattlecans and an intense valet .

Wasent that bonnet piece an import thing?

I always thought the hood ornament was an aftermarket addition ?

Deffo. Not one on my 81 import and wouldn't have bought it if there had been!![emoji13]

Good God you're right!! I've even found another one on EBay with one!!

I don't know why but aside from vintage cars and of course RR (no, not Them but Rolls Royce), I have always had a revulsion for such things. It just doesn't look right IMHO.

All the Middle East models have them for some reason.

Even had one on my Pajero... cough!

seems odd Clive putting a Toyota badge on a mitsi :)

I had the leaping cat mascot on my old XJ12 back in the early 80's. It was from a MK2 3.8 saloon and I was told then that it should be fixed on with soft shear bolts that would easily break in case you hit a pedestrian? I decided to use standard bolts instead and loctited them which was fine until some t**t tried to nick it and only succeeded in making a mess of the bonnet! A good reason not to fit one these days I reckon.
