Petrol and diesel could slip below the magic £1.00 threshold

Paid 5.29 Lei tonight and there's 5.50 lei to the pound at the moment, so round about 96p per litre by my math, [emoji3]

Diesel is currently $1.20 a litre in Melbourne so £0.56! :icon-cool:

But the way the fuel prices works here is ridiculous, with daily rises and falls!!

Generally, fuel is cheapest on a Wednesday and the weekend is the most expensive. On long weekends where we have a public holiday on the Monday they ramp up prices even more! :icon-rolleyes:

That's nice and cheap Ben, didn't realize fuel was so cheap in OZ

the derv is currently €0.96 here with the unleaded at about €1.10. Propane is €12.50 for a 13 kg bottle - some of the cheapest in Europe.Mains electricity though is amoung the most expensive in the world at 30 US cents(equivalent) per KWH. me , ive been off grid for the last 14 years :icon-biggrin: The government has lowered the "guaranteed" feed in tariff , leaving many people who are connected to the grid truly stuffed
