Position of airbag sensor on '97 80 series?

My recently acquired 80 had a whack to the front bumper before I got it.
Looks like just bent brackets and there's only 4 bolts holding it on.
One thing I wasn't sure of, though, was the position of the airbag sensor.
Looks like it's attached to the front crossmember behind the actual bumper.
Does anyone know for sure?

Hi,
Yes the sensor is on the front crossmember. On my 1996 UK Spec HDJ80 it is
on the drivers side and looks like a button protected by a round plastic
tube. When you have an ARB winch bumper without a winch installed it looks
very exposed.

Hi Ian,
Thanks for confirming it.
I believe there's a second 'safing' sensor somewhere up above the gearbox
that acts as a check against the readings from the front one. Hope that
makes you feel a little better.
