I use gurgle chrome, how do i clear the cashe & cookies ?

Top right corner alongside your address bar there are 3 bold lines forming a small square , click that - settings - history . I also do a disk clean up about once a week .

There is also a very useful Chrome extension you can get called Click and Clean.
Nice thing about it, you can set up to clear out history and cookies every time you close the browser:

You can do that on Internet Explorer as well. I can't remember how I did it but I came across it by accident just a couple of days ago.

IE has the option in Advanced Settings to clear History on exit, unfortunately Chrome does not so Click and Clean is a great little extension.

Offers a lot more besides clearing cookies and the like when the browser closes.

Then, use a VPN, and don't search with Google... Try DuckDuck Go, or another "memoryless" search engine. That won't keep you totally clean, but at least out of sight from cursory prying eyes.
