Help from the Uk - Help needed

I love this site and I'm now the proud owner of 2005 4.7 v8 petrol 2005 lancruiser Amazon.

I've changed the fan belt and now it needs an altenator

I need help finding an altenator. OEM from Toyota is wanting £1k plus VAT!

Where do you recommend i get one from.

If the Roughtrax one is the same brand as for diesel I’d stay well clear. Mine lasted a year!

Look on eBay for one made by NAPA with a 5 year warranty.

Have a chat with Robson & Francis, London, (contact info on net) and if it is repairable they are the people to do it.

Local motor factors.... it will be a decent quality and probably in stock or next day . My local factor sells NAPA parts .
