Does anyone know if the rear brake discs on a 90 series are the same size as an 80's, also calipers and pads,

thanks

I am under the belief that the 90 series shares the same rear disc setup as the import 71's, 78's and kzj70 / 71 etc. As they're semi floating light duty jobs!

Hope the info helps:thumbup:

Last time I bought rear pads from MrT, the box lists 70,80 and 90 series variants as compatible models. This would suggest the rear set up is damn near identical.

Thanks Bob, the pads look very much like 80 ones and so does the rear caliper come to that.

Now that I think of it, the calliper piston is listed for both machines too. Had a glance on ToyoDiy there, and the majority of parts numbers are the same. The calliper mount is the same, but the cylinder housing is slightly different, although under the same part reference - possibly a superceded part

I'll have a look at the first opportunity. I had the wheels off one and thought that they looked so similar I had to ask.
