Rear fog light position?

Is there any law that states where you can fit a rear fog light, ie; distance from the ground etc. I've googled it but can't find an answer.

The height is dependent on construction of the vehicle regarding fitting height, it should ideally not be above the top of the rear light cluster & not within 100mm of the stop lamp, It also has to be on the centre line or to the right of the centre line unless two are fitted.
